BSCE recently completed all planning, design, and construction management for the reconstruction of a rural/urban interface route with a high number of fatalities. This $4.0 million roadway project corrected numerous site distance issues, roadway failures, steep slopes, and dangerous intersections. This project was quite political in nature and required extensive coordination w/ Cascade County to establish an RSID to pay for most improvements as well as coordination with MDT, as much of the project falls within MDT jurisdiction. BSCE also completed construction layout/staking and materials testing on the County’s behalf for the project. Project construction completed in 2017.
